Last date for filing Income Tax Return (for the assessment year 2009-10)

Last date for filing income tax return for the assessment year 2009-10 with Audit Report for dealers having annual turnover exceeding 40 Lakhs is 30th September 2009.

Defaulters may get a penalty of Rs.50,000/ or Half Percentage of turnover which ever is lower and at the same time they should also file Audit report in FORM 13 on or before the same date before Assessing authority of Commercial Tax Authority in concerned circles.
